Norway Hinna Rock Paintings
These eight Stone Age images in total, five of them of red deer, in a rock shelter above the fjord shore are probably over 4,000 years old. They are not rock carvings but paintings with paint.
Travel Information
South of Tingvoll a narrow road runs south along the coast. The first kilometres are asphalted, another seven to eight kilometres are dirt road, like a roller coaster. Quasi at the end of the world there is actually a small parking area. You have to continue on foot, only a few hundred metres, but the path through the forest is adventurously sloping, sometimes slippery.
