Norway Eafossen (Hyttfossen) Waterfall
From Røros to the northwest, the Gaula River with its turquoise water and many beautiful rapids and waterfalls accompanies the road Rv 30 over a long stretch. The waterfall Eafossen forms the start. It is also called Hyttfossen, because at times the water was used to power the machinery of a copper smelter. Below the waterfall is a lot of slag from the copper smelting. The waterfall and the rocky bed of the Gaula are also worth seeing from above.
