Oman Wadi Tiwi Waterfall in Oman

The Wadi Tiwi is a unique gorge that can be entered with a four-wheel drive vehicle. The highlight is a waterfall amidst abraded rocks.

The descent to the waterfall is quite strenuous. To reward this effort with good pictures, you should use a tripod and ND filter. And you should take more time to photograph than I did, even if the guide is already waiting to take you back to the car park.

With a four-wheel drive vehicle, you can drive deep into the Wadi Tiwi valley and up over narrow and steep roads until the road ends shortly before Mibam. There, at a small car park, guides are already waiting to show you the way down to the waterfall. Without a guide, it might be difficult to find the right path for the steep descent.
