For me, taking time out to photograph landscapes is a way of combining several passions of mine: seeing, travelling and being creative. Roaming around in the open, taking in the scenery, setting up my tripod, composing an image, waiting for the "right" light, all this clears my mind, gives me a sense of remoteness and freedom and enhances the intensity with which I perceive a particular place. Hopefully, my pictures capture some of the moods I experienced when I was "there".
