Beautiful 3 - 4 hour round trip hike to get to Miradouro Ponta do Furado. Relatively easy hike with an incline steep for the last 20 minutes. Advised to go early in the morning as there is no shade on the trail and can get quite hot (and windy!). The entire trail is just simply stunning. The endpoint is by no means the nicest part of the hike (in my opinion at least).

Travel Information

The Parking gets fuller later on the day but it's quite a large size parking lot. It is one of the most popular hikes in Madeira. And for good reason!
