Portugal Ponta da Piedade - Lagos
A beautiful place with clear water and intermediate cliffs and natural arches. There is a walk to the water with steps into the sea if you like swimming. Due to a karstic erosion of the Mesozoic limestone, the whole area is a labyrinth of caves, arches, islets and vertical stone walls. This part of the coast is also rich in plants and birds.
At Ponta da Piedade there is a lighthouse (which cannot be visited). There is a public toilet near the car park.
