Hunedoara Castle, also known as Corvin Castle or Hunyadi Castle, is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained medieval castles in Romania. It has amazing Gothic architecture and is surrounded by legends. It is said that the famous Vlad the Impaler, also known as Vlad Dracula, was imprisoned in the basement for several years.
The castle has been used as a set in some films.

Getting to the right in the parking spot will get you an almost isometric view of the whole castle, if you have a wide enough lens you could photograph the river beneath that goes around the castle.

The castle is located in the city of Hunedoara, some 273 km west of Brasov and 130 km from Sibiu. You can get there by car, train, or bus. You can access the spot pretty easily, there are car parking spots too.
The Castle is open daily, from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM on Mondays, and from 9:00 AM and 8:30 PM from Tuesdays to Sundays. A normal ticket costs around €5.
