Romania Fortress of the Three Towers (Cetatea Tricule)
The reservoir formed by the Danube at the Iron Gate (Porțile de Fier) is over 150 km long and Romania's third largest lake. The Fortress of the Three Towers (Cetatea Tricule) from the late Middle Ages was flooded by the reservoir; two towers still rise out of the water and threaten to collapse.
