Spain Mirador La Tarta (Tf 24 Road), Tenerife
That is an interesting spot. The reason is you can use the arch (even simulate a cave) framing El Teide, which is the mountain, actually a volcano, most higher in Spain.
Due to the altitude, you will be the most of the year above the clouds.
You can take a rest, enjoy the views and then continue with your visit. Maybe you want to shoot the milky way. From that spot, facing a little bit to the left, you can do it.

Photography Tips
Depending on how close you are to rocks, maybe you need to focus stack and bracket the image due to the high contrast.
In this image, I did 2 images at F11 for focus stacking. One on the rock closest to the camera, and the second one, at the hyperfocal. Those images were bracketed 1stop. So eventually you will have 6 images.
How did I composite the image) First, in Lightroom, I just mounted the HDR, and then in Photoshop did the Focus Stacking and the editing process.
The editing process in this case has layers of:
-enhancing colours
-cleaning up some spots and tiny particles you could find in the field
-a bit of contrast
-some Orton effect (just a touch)
-and cleaning up de the halos formed in the borders of the rock due to the high contrast in the dynamic range.

Travel Information
To get there, you will need to follow the road (TF24) from "Mirador La Tarta del Teide" about 1.5 Km. You will find to your left a spot to park your car, and crossing the road, a path. You have to take that path and walk 800-900 m. Just trying to get the "Mirador La Tarta del Teide".
There are no complications, just follow the path.
Things you would need:
- Water. Always at high altitudes bring water. Although it is not the Himalayas, the atmosphere here is pretty dry.
- Sunglasses. UV radiation used to be high.
- Food for taking a rest when you reach the spot. Please, be polite with nature.
- If you are traveling in summer, or just during the day, you'll not need extra layers, but If you are here in winter, please, bring with you clothes. Sometimes it is very cold.
- Appropriate footwear. Despite it being an easy path to walk, please protect your feet and walk safely.
- Finally, take it easy, you could find you lose your breath if you are not fit.
