Spain Leprosería de Abades, Tenerife
Great location in the east part of Tenerife. Since leprosy was an important disease in the Canaries, in 1943 was scheduled a project to keep their people and dead bodies. That place consists of a church (Francoism style) and several administrative buildings and bedrooms. The "village" was abandoned since medicines were effective against the disease.
Photography Tips
Great perspectives are possible for this spot. But, in this case, was at night. What I did was different shoots with illumination in different spots of the building and blend them (is quite easy in Photoshop, just align layers and then choose blend mode "lighten").
-ISO: 2000
-15 seconds
-F8
-WB: 5000-6000 k, depending on how orange/red you want the sky and lights.
-Focus on the hyperfocal will make easy your focusing procedure. Due to being pretty dark, you have to light it with a torch the hyperfocal and then focus it.
I recommend using torches (yellow light if possible) and flash speedlite.
You will need to be accompanied by a friend. Will be easier the procedure.

Travel Information
To get there is quite easy. You have to get to Abades, which is a small village. There you have beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, so you can spend your day there, and then take pictures at night.
I suggest to park at Neptuno's Street because the path starts there, but you can park wherever you want in that village.
To get the shooting point, take the path and follow it. It is quite easy. I recommend doing that at daylight to scout the location and go back at the blue hour for instance.
Please, be aware that there are houses, so be polite and don't make loud noises.
Once at the spot, be careful wherever you walk. It is an abandoned place, so you can find many rocks and dangerous things.
Carrying a headlamp is mandatory, is pretty dark up there.
Don't need extra clothes, It is a coastal village so the temperature is warm almost the whole year. Maybe you could need a hoodie.
