Next to the road you can find a parking lot. On the other side of the road there are some steps carved into the parapet. If you climb them, you will come to the spot. Be careful when you see the prohibition sign, you have gone too far. The right spot comes after about 10 meters.

From this spot you can see both left to San Andre and the long road up, straight on the Teide and right to Taganana (It is the only spot on the island that allows you to do this.) So you can see, for example, at sunset first ie the valley of San Andres disappears in the shadows, then the slow of both and at the end of the sun in the sea behind Taganana goes down.

You have to go to the viewpoint El Bailadere which is very well signposted and definitely worth a stop. Then continue on the narrow mountain road until you reach this spot. If you drive by, you can turn around a little further back.
