Spain West of Cueva del Peinero
Approaching the Refugio Cueva del Peinero from the west, the rocks along the road offer two eerie passages: First, a wall of sandstone and karst, completely eaten away by erosion, towers over the road. It is riddled with caves and erosions. Boulders of various sizes, some obviously still quite fresh, lie at the foot of the rock. The whole structure gives the impression of wanting to collapse immediately. Then follows a hollow way hewn deep into the mountain.
