The Telamon is a shipwreck located off the coast of Arrecife, Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands. The Greek-owned cargo ship ran aground in 1981 while transporting phosphate rock from Morocco to the Mediterranean. The vessel was abandoned after failing to be salvaged, and it has since become a prominent landmark, partially submerged and rusting, attracting divers and photographers. The Telamon is now a well-known part of Lanzarote's maritime history and a visual symbol of the island's coastal environment.
