Sweden Kukkolaforsen Rapids
The Torneälv, which forms the border between Sweden and Finland, is the longest unregulated river in Europe. Even more spectacular than the Kukkolaforsen rapids is the fishing. On both sides of the border from long wooden scaffolding whitefish are fished with long-handled fishing nets.
On the Swedish side, some historic buildings are preserved as a museum village.
