There are places you cannot get to for sunrise unless you stay over in a tent. Pizol‘s Wildsee is one of them as the closest possibility to stay over is 1000m below. Spending the night up here is a great opportunity to catch the milky way.

Travel Information
Parking in Wangs, take cable cars to Pizolhütte. From there it is just over an hour to get to the spot.
Obviously: check whether wild camping is accepted before you go anywhere and LEAVE NO TRACE. Nature reserves, wildlife sanctuaries or high moor areas are no go‘s.
