Switzerland Traversiner footbridge

To the south of Thusis, in the canton of Grisons, flows an inconspicuous stream into the Hinterrhein (Back Rhine), which flows here in a deep canyon.
Before the confluence, the creek has created an impressive gorge. In the course of the revived Roman path 'Veia Traversina' the Traversiner overhead crossing spans the gorge. The bridge is a staircase as a suspension bridge, which bridges 22 meters in height on 56 m length. It is very well guyed, so it hardly wavers.
