United Kingdom Canning Dock, Liverpool

This was one of the better spots I found on the many dock areas in Liverpool, with a clear shot to interesting buildings reflected in the water. There's a nice composition on the corner where you can get in part of the paved street, and an opportunity to get some close-up shots of the hundreds of "love locks" attached the the metal railings beside this area.

Sunrise worked really well for me. I'd advise positioning yourself near the south east corner to avoid the nearby sailing ship. It's easy to use a tripod in this area as you can step over the railings to get out of the way of people, and nobody will bother you.

I walked from my hotel, but this area is well connected by public transport.
