United Kingdom Belfast Mural, Wallpainting
Silent witnesses of Northern Ireland‘s complicated political past. The murals add to the special vibes in this amazing city. Many of the more martialist paintings have been replaced by hopeful ones. But there are still plenty of originals that are part of the country‘s history. Just recently the loyalist Ulster Volunteer Force has added more murals in East Belfast, showing paramilitary scenes. The topic is as current as ever in connection with Brexit.
Travel Information
Hop on hop off buses touring Belfast are a good option. If you come off at the right spot it is a short walk to this place. The area seems a bit rough though, so I wouldn‘t come here at night.
