This spot is all about winter scenery as you go over the pass to Applecross.
This second highest and most dangerous mountain pass in Scotland is also known as Bealach na Bà (Pass of the Cattle).

Travel Information

Take the A896 north from Loch Carron. Turn left at the sign for Applecross. There are places off road to park on the way up and there is a parking spot at the top of the pass. Be aware that sometimes the pass is closed due to heavy snow.
