United Kingdom Bempton Cliffs
Around half a million seabirds gather at Bempton Cliffs between March and October on towering chalk cliffs overlooking the North Sea. Apart from kittiwakes and fulmars, the only mainland colony of gannets is here. Usually, the magnificent sailing birds with the yellow heads only breed on remote, small islands.
