Travel Information
A national monument, well organized, and plenty of parking available.
The "Big Room", a huge hall about 220 meters underground, can be entered without a guide. I got there by lift. It is also possible to get there on foot via hairpin bends and through the long "Main Corridor". But it takes me almost three hours to complete the 2 km circular route through the gigantic Big Room, including taking photos. The path is marked out with railings to the left and right. In many places, the cave is discreetly illuminated with yellow-white light. The temperature inside the cave is a constant windless 13°C.
