USA Mt. Rainier -From Skyscraper Mountain
8,000 feet up, from the top of Skyscraper Mountain you have a fantastic vantage point from which to capture the grand imposing nature of the 14,000 foot tall Mt. Rainier.

Photography Tips
The hardest part about taking this photo is the hike to this location.
Round trip you are looking at a 10 mile hike with close to 2,000 feet of elevation gain. The good news is that the trail is well marked. I went out and back in just over four hours.

Travel Information
Enter Mt. Rainier National Park from the NE entrance and make your way to the Sunrise visitor center. This location is only open in the summer (check the road status page to be sure the road has been cleared of the winter snow.) The parking lot is quite popular, so the earlier you can arrive, the better off you'll be.
