USA Mount Rainer
This hike is well-named! It is easy and fairly level taking you through beautiful forests but then suddenly opens into this open area (park) that seems to just go on and on with this huge mountain right in front of you. In the spring it is full of wildflowers, mostly lupines. and gives amazing elements for photography. Walk to the end of the park to find the Pacific Coast Trail and take a right and walk a short distance to a stunning cliff-top view of the mountain right in front of you.
Photography Tips
Come early, just after the snow clears, to catch the wildflowers; bring a wide-angle lens with a polarizing filter.
