USA The Blob

The Valley of Fire Park State park is a 'hidden' gem not far from Las Vegas, a perfect stop between Vegas and Zion.
This park is renowned for strange stone creations, like the Elephant, the Fire wave,
this Blob however is less known, more difficult to find, you have to hunt for it when walking 'The White Domes Trail', but that's part of the fun.

I can be hot there, it's a desert. The golden hours are ideal, cooler and warmer colors.

I'm not 100% sure how to get there, it's been a long time ago. It's not waymarked and you have to go 'wild', but it's worth and you probably see other interesting stuff to photograph. The location on the map however is the exact location.

Note from an admirer of this photo: To get to this spot, from the Valley of Fire Visitor Center drive 13 miles (21km) to the Fire Wave parking area (parking lot #3). On the right side of the lot, there’s a narrow drainage leading southwest. Work your way down the drainage until it opens up after a couple of minutes. The path will split. One veering to the left and the other to the right. The path to the left will lead you this spot in just a couple of minutes.
