USA Skagway Ferry Terminal

On land (road), Skagway in Alaska (USA) can be reached only from Canada. Road access is poor or not possible at all for many Alaskan towns. Therefore in addition to the „land based road system“, there is the Alaska Marine Highway System, a system of ferry connections along the entire Pacific coast of Alaska. One route connects Skagway with the ports of South East Alaska.

Skagway is the end point of the road from Carcross (Yukon /Canada) via British Columbia/Canada and the White Pass. The last or next stop, respectively, of the ferry boat is Haines/Alaska.
