USA Yavapai Point, Grand Canyon South Rim
One of the designated viewpoints at the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It is often crowded here. There are railings to protect you from steep drops. However, because it's crowded, consider using the railing to set up a clamp instead of a tripod which will undoubtedly be knocked by nearby tourists as they walk by.
Photography Tips
Position yourself right at the end of the platform next to the railings and you can capture 270 degrees of panorama(!) I couldn't do this though, because several photographers were queuing up to do this. I just took their word for it.
