USA Madison Creek Falls
A beautiful waterfalls easily accessible by highway and trail walk which is surrounded by lush, green forests in the Washington Olympic Forest.
Photography Tips
Best visited in spring, with the higher volume of river flow, this is best photographed in the morning. You will need to take a very short climb down to the river to get low enough. It is close so a very wide angle lens is needed and a tripod for there isn't much light and a long shutter speed will be necessary.
Travel Information
Travel west from Port Angeles along Highway 101 and just before crossing the Elwha River bridge take a left along Olympic Hot Springs Rd. Travel about 2 miles to the trailhead which is on the left and walk about 400 yards to the falls.
