Arrive early to check for composition; this site is popular. If you have the staying power keeping shooting the Milky Way over the mountain in autumn. Lower Tipsoo Lake also has nice wildflowers in the spring.

Drive Highway 410 east until just before Chinook Pass and find parking on the side of the road near the lake on the south side.
