Those hot springs are famous in the area and can be crowded in the first hours of the day. It's absolutely worth to visit. Don't forget your swimming wear and enjoy some hours in these waters.

Photography Tips

If you have a person who would be down to hop into the hot springs during the time of your photo session: this would upgrade your images a lot since you have a better story to tell. I used a wide-angle lens most of the time to capture the colorful pools. Come early to avoid crowds.

Travel Information

Park your car at the Umpqua parking lot, where you can also find a restroom. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to your right along the river. You will have to climb a few meters, but the hike is easy and doable by kids as well.
