Chile Garganta del Diablo
A few kilometers outside San Pedro de Atacama, water has carved a narrow canyon into the salt cordillera: The Quebrada de Chulacao, also known as Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Gulch). A hiking trail leads into it. In some places, it goes through narrow openings and under overhangs. Traces of erosion can be seen everywhere.
