Croatia Plitvice Lakes - Lower Lake View Point

This is my favourite spot for capturing the beauty of Plitvice Lakes without a drone or heli ;-)
Plitvice Lakes is so full of beautiful spots that you can easily spend a whole day to take hundreds of beautiful pictures, it's definitely worth a visit. And if you stop by, make sure to leave the tourist-packed trails along the shores. This spot is easy to reach from the restaurant (just a couple of minute's walk), but it's not nearly as crowded as the rest of the national park (we were there almost alone for a quarter of an hour), so you can enjoy the beauty of the spot all by yourself.

Easy shot, especially if you avoid a time around early afternoon when you might have to cope with frontlighting, since you shoot straight to the south.

Take the footpath uphill from the junction of the lower and the upper lakes where the restaurant is located right at the quay for the lake boats. The footpath leads to the road on top of the cliffs (towards the other great photo location, see my other shot). Use every small trail to the right of the road to explore several viewpoints, with this one (the first on the path) being the best imho.
