If you are looking for lavender fields and a good composition I think this one is a winner; at least my wife thinks so. It is located just north of Bonnieux in the Petit Luberon of Provence and hidden away on a side road so takes some finding.

Photography Tips

I think this shot works best at sunset with the front lighting. I also came back at dawn and the trees to the left blocked all the light and the colors were not bright. I tried both telephoto, here, and wide angle finding that the telephoto gave the best composition.
