Germany Eselsburg valley (Eselsburger Tal)
The Eselsburg valley near Herbrechtingen, north of Ulm, is certainly a scenic highlight of the eastern Swabian Alb. It is not only a pretty river valley and nature refuge but also geologically interesting. The bizarre rock formations typical for the Alb are very striking here.
Photography Tips
The afternoon sun lights up the rocks, but it sets early behind the mountain on the opposite side of the valley.
