Netherlands 'De Salamander' saw mill, Leidschendam
Lumber mill “The Salamander” was built in Leidschendam around 1778 and remained in operation until 1953. Then the mill was neglected and got deteriorated. Eventually the mill was completely dismantled and then rebuilt by a group of volunteers in the traditional way under the guidance of professionals. It is now in a place close to the Vliet, the former location was a bit further away.
Photography Tips
The entire area is worth photographing so bring along a tripod and filters.
I used 16-35mm but wished I brought along my 14-24mm (albeit without filters).
