New Zealand McLean Falls, Catlins
McLean Falls are one of many waterfalls in the Catlins, surrounded by a wonderful forest.
Photography Tips
If you don’t want to freeze the waterfall, you will need a very steady hand plus a good stabilizer; alternatively bring a tripod or something to rest your camera on, like a bean bag.
Travel Information
The falls can be reached via a 20-minute walk from Rewcastle Road, a gravel road off the main road through the Catlins. Plan for at least two days in the Catlins as travel is slow and there is plenty to see and do.
