Portugal Cacela Vejha
In the Eastern Algarve, on a hill above the Ria Formosa lagoon, lies the mini village of Cacela Vejha. In the Middle Ages, it is said to have been a pirate's nest. Naturally, a magnificent church belonged to it. With its old fort from the 12th century, it looks like a fortress from the beach. From up there, the view of the lagoon and the sea is particularly beautiful.
