Romania Hay drying and storing near Botiza

Maramureş, the region in the northwest of Romania is a particularly beautiful, hilly landscape in which an independent culture has been preserved. Agriculture and forestry are obviously lucrative here: nowhere in the second poorest country in the European Union have I seen so many proper villages and so little poverty.
Hay is still dried and stored very traditionally here.
