United Kingdom Mull of Kintyre lighthouse

Beautiful views from the parking lot all the way down to the lighthouse and on the area of the lighthouse itself.
Paul McCartney lived here for a few years on a farm in the green hills and published a very successful song about the area.

For the views, even across the see to Ireland, a tele lens is good. For the lighthouse grounds a normal and a wide angle lens are recommended.

A steep and narrow paved vroad runs up the mountain and is blocked by a turnpike. There are a few parking lots at that point. From there it is an approximately one kilometer hike down a paved serpentine to the lighthouse.
