USA Schwabachers Landing, Wyoming
Schwabachers Landing is a small boat landing on the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park. It's an absolutely stunning spot and worth a visit for any photographer or lover of nature.
Photography Tips
Get there for sunrise! The alpenglow can be wonderful. Sunset is no slouch either, though. It's a pretty deserted area, so keep an eye out for wildlife (moose have been seen here, and when I visited I had the pleasure of hanging out with a few beavers and some elk).
Travel Information
Google should get you most of the way. Depending on the season, the road that actually takes you to the landing may be closed. If so, you can park your car at the turn-off and then walk the rest of the way. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of cushion time in case the road is closed.
