Netherlands Anna Paulowna
At Anna Paulowna and the surrounding area, in the north of North Holland, the Flower Days (Dutch: Bloemendagen) have been held for many years at the end of the hyacinth flowering season, around mid/late April. Many residents create small and large works of art from flowers, which are then presented to the public for five days. Objects such as bridges are decorated. Pictures are "painted" from thousands of individual hyacinth blossoms. Among them are well-known paintings, photos, movie posters, but also their own creations.
